Getting Here
For most international tourists, the easiest and most practical mode of entry is by rental car, affording them not only convenience but also the flexibility to explore this beautiful surrounding region of the Malá Fatra mountains. Rajecké Teplice lies just about a 15-minute drive from a big city, Žilina, well connected to Slovakia's main D1 motorway. The hotel is the central landmark of the town and very easy to find. An important positive aspect is free private onsite parking for guests.
Bratislava, Slovakia (BTS), Vienna, Austria (VIE), or Krakow, Poland (KRK)-whichever around two to two and a half hours driving distance from the hotel by road are convenient significant international airports nearby. The most sensible option would be renting a car from any of these airports for this straight journey. Ostrava Airport (OSR) in the Czech Republic is also an option.
Traveling by public transport is also very convenient, particularly by train. The main railway junction of the region is Žilina, with excellent international and domestic train connections even from Prague and Bratislava. From the Žilina railway station, a lovely local train (the "Rajecká Anča") provides frequent scenic 30-minute rides directly to the Rajecké Teplice railway station. The station is only about a pleasant 10-minute walk to the hotel.
